I use Apple Pages for composing my BLOG posts. Don’t use any of the fancy formatting. For my needs it is simply a text editor with frills. Pages just did an update, so I hope Apple hasn’t changed it too much.
Don’t spend as much time as I once did, posting in my many blogs. For me a text editor is just a tool. It doesn’t have to be “improved” and new features to learn every few months. It’s an interface between my mind, the keyboard, and a ready-to-publish text file.
Not complaining here. I WOULD use all the “Features” if I were creating a final form, highly professional publication. Pages is designed to do that.
What I don’t want to see or use is some form of AI (Artificial Intelligence) taking over my thoughts and rewriting my composition. For me, my posts are wizzywigg – WYSIWYG – What You See Is What You Get, Ha!
It’s all just me with no pretense. To quote Benjamin Franklin and Popeye, “I am what I am, and that’s all that I am.”
